"The Early Years" chapters are presented in a soft cover edition, to enable our youth to read about African Amercian history from the author's personal experiences growing up on Chicago's South Side, during the turbulent and challenging civil rights years. It also contrasts how the author was treated down South, compared to up North, working summer's on his grandparent's farm in the cotton fields.
